Roderick Cousteau could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Gerard Thurman made a huge save. Rosetown FC's Harry Deserres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lane Compton in the 43rd minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Delmar Rock made a kick off. Herbert Davenport blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Harry Deserres having to make a save. Roderick Cousteau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerard Thurman having to interfere. Yves Pittman kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Kinnaird AFC's Lane Compton in the 68th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Harry Deserres was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Rosetown FC through an amazing save. Harry Deserres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lane Compton in the 74th minute of play. Lane Compton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delmar Rock in the 87th minute of play forced Kinnaird AFC's goalkeeper Gerard Thurman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kinnaird AFC's Lane Compton got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
