The audience was convinced that Wiley Michel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ramon Maddox was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Wiley Michel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Ramon Maddox tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wiley Michel to make the kick off. Craig Echeverri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Toney Souplet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jerold Lemaître, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Craig Echeverri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Toney Souplet having to interfere. 85 minutes into the game, Garry Looney was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Stillwater AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Montreal BJK the free kick. After a rather tough play, Stillwater AFC's Garry Looney got a free kick in the 85th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Stillwater AFC's zone, Jerold Lemaître stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Toney Souplet came out of the goal and Jerold Lemaître tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Stillwater AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Montreal BJK.
