After having played for 6 minutes, Rosendo Pouliotte managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wawa AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rosendo Pouliotte was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 7 played minutes Tangent AFC got a freekick which was hit by Raul Maheu. Gino Bolden received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Jose Harris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gino Bolden got free with Jose Harris in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 21 minutes into the game, Ron Read lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Jose Harris. In the 31st minute, Darius Gladu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ron Read who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Jose Harris when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jose Harris showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gino Bolden in the 34th minute of the match. If Gino Bolden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wawa AFC's Jose Harris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ron Read in the 40th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ron Read in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jose Harris saved Wawa AFC from getting behind. Gino Bolden sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 46 minutes into the match, Wawa AFC's goalkeeper Jose Harris had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gino Bolden. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Milo Pruett to make the kick off. Gino Bolden sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 55 minutes into the match, Tangent AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Milo Pruett came free, but Morris Dubois reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 55 minutes, Sammy Gray mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tangent AFC and the Wawa AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tangent AFC's Morris Dubois proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Tangent AFC from getting a goal against them. Through an outstanding action, after 59 minutes, Morris Dubois successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Rosendo Pouliotte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Wawa AFC booed when Tangent AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Séverin Irving didn't get a good kick on the ball. Morris Dubois acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 64th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Guillermo Ali. With his leg Morris Dubois managed to avoid a goal in the 65thth minute, when Wawa AFC's Rosendo Pouliotte fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Milo Pruett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Milo Pruett came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Wawa AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Milo Pruett couldn't finish the play. In the 75th minute, Sammy Gray hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Winford Cotton kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Morris Dubois acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 83rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Guillermo Ali. Raul Maheu kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. In the 88th minute Gino Bolden shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jose Harris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rosendo Pouliotte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tangent AFC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
