An unexpectedly hard shot by Trey Crook in the 4th minute of play forced Whaletown FC's goalkeeper Rosario McCoy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 8 minutes into the match, Endako FC's goal looked a bit too open when Roland Lang came free, but Luigi Belisle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Austin McGuire had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Austin McGuire blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luigi Belisle having to make a save. Rosario McCoy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Trey Crook in the 22nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Whaletown FC's Von Braun got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Endako FC's Willis Potvin got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 26th match minute, Endako FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michal Bell to maneuver through the defense. In the 27th minute, Nathan Dye sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Endako FC's Luigi Belisle didn't even have to move. When Roderick Haney fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Endako FC's protests and gave Roderick Haney a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Endako FC's Roderick Haney got a free kick in the 28th minute. A hard shot 30 in the game by Roland Lang from a close distance when the talented Luigi Belisle managed to make a qualified save. Endako FC's players were relieved. Austin McGuire struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Luigi Belisle didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Whaletown FC. Roderick Haney kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. The supporters of Endako FC booed when Whaletown FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bradford Briard didn't get a good kick on the ball. Willis Potvin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Michal Bell hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Roland Lang could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Luigi Belisle made a huge save. In the 45th minute Austin McGuire shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luigi Belisle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

In the 54th minute Whaletown FC were awarded a corner. Nathan Dye went to the cornerflag to take it. Nathan Dye made a great header on Whaletown FC's corner, it was just that Endako FC's Luigi Belisle managed to reach the ball for a save. After 59 played minutes Willis Potvin rounded Whaletown FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-1. Bradford Briard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Luigi Belisle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 67 minutes into the game, Whaletown FC's Austin McGuire nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luigi Belisle made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. If Willis Potvin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rosario McCoy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Willis Potvin, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. In the 73rd minute Willis Potvin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rosario McCoy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Trey Crook might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rosario McCoy. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Trey Crook ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 82nd match minute, Whaletown FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Austin McGuire to maneuver through the defense. Trey Crook recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 86 minutes into the match, Whaletown FC's goal looked a bit too open when Willis Potvin came free, but Rosario McCoy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 92 minutes into the match, Endako FC's goal looked a bit too open when Roland Lang came free, but Luigi Belisle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Endako FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Whaletown FC.
