The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Homer Booth to strike the kick off in the second half. Homer Booth's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jose Harris read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Timothy Gaudreau in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jose Harris saved Wawa AFC from getting behind. When Garry Epperson fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mildmay AFC's protests and gave Garry Epperson a yellow card for diving instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rosendo Pouliotte got free with Léopold Benoit in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Mildmay AFC's Von Tovar got a free kick in the 76th minute. Von Tovar's late challenge caught a Wawa AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Von Tovar helped the player get up and apologised. In the 79th minute, Von Tovar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rosendo Pouliotte struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Léopold Benoit didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wawa AFC. Homer Booth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jose Harris having to interfere. Jose Harris took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timothy Gaudreau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Von Tovar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
