Spectators: 6726 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Sal Ham took the kick off in the first half of the match. It was a well-played corner which Léandre Chassé managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 18 minutes into the match, Roddickton's goal looked a bit too open when Lane Compton came free, but Rickie Woody reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rickie Woody made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lane Compton in the 20th minute of play. Kinnaird AFC's Gerard Thurman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Kinnaird AFC from getting a goal against them. 26 minutes into the match, Herbert Davenport had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rickie Woody. Roddickton's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Herbert Davenport was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Gerard Thurman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Léandre Chassé in the 35th minute. A collision led to Kinnaird AFC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Lane Compton hit a great ball. In the 43rd minute Herbert Davenport shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rickie Woody saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gerard Thurman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sal Ham in the 46th minute of play. The Roddickton players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Kinnaird AFC were winning 0-1.

In the 60th minute Lane Compton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rickie Woody saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Lane Compton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lane Compton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Kinnaird AFC booed when Roddickton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabrice Louis didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Léandre Chassé came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Roddickton fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Léandre Chassé couldn't finish the play. Gerard Thurman came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Roddickton's Sal Ham. But to his dismay, Sal Ham quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Rickie Woody made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Herbert Davenport sent off a good shot on target. Through an outstanding action, after 94 minutes, Rickie Woody successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Rickie Woody stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lane Compton's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
