After a defensive mix-up in Minnitaki FC's zone, Gonzalo Clifton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Theodore Nichols came out of the goal and Gonzalo Clifton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Theodore Nichols showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jamey Smalls in the 14th minute of the match. Jamey Smalls might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Theodore Nichols. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jamey Smalls ran back to his position shaking his head. Minnitaki FC's Theodore Nichols proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Minnitaki FC from getting a goal against them. Gonzalo Clifton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Isaias Fréchette kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Arlie Gousse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlo Lam in the 21st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Minnitaki FC's Deandre Carney got a free kick in the 30th minute. Gonzalo Clifton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 33 minutes into the game, Ollie Baker was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Minnitaki FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Inwood the free kick. The referee gave Inwood a penalty, 34 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Gonzalo Clifton, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Minnitaki FC's Theodore Nichols. 1-0. Duncan Flamand kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Theodore Nichols showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jamey Smalls, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carlo Lam to strike the kick off in the second half. When Bert Loiselle came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Inwood fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bert Loiselle couldn't finish the play. In the 58th minute Ollie Baker collided with an opponent which caused him a fractured collar bone. In the 64th minute, Absolon Thornton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Minnitaki FC booed when Inwood was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chi Léveillé didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Jamey Smalls had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Theodore Nichols didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gonzalo Clifton went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. A collision led to Inwood getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Jamey Smalls hit a great ball. Inwood's Gonzalo Clifton got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 81 minutes into the match, Jamey Smalls had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Theodore Nichols. Minnitaki FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jamey Smalls was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Gonzalo Clifton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jamey Smalls's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Theodore Nichols read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. If Duncan Flamand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jamey Smalls fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Theodore Nichols having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Inwood fully deserved thier win.
