The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Stevie Gaudreau showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Darnell Carrier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Herb Ruel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeffery Riddle having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Darnell Carrier in the 31st minute of play forced Beaverdam AFC's goalkeeper Stevie Gaudreau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Barton Holloway took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Stevie Gaudreau. Stevie Gaudreau dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Darnell Carrier might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stevie Gaudreau. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Darnell Carrier ran back to his position shaking his head. Beaverdam AFC's Bruce Sanders got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Darnell Carrier to make the kick off. Beaverdam AFC's Stevie Gaudreau proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Beaverdam AFC from getting a goal against them. Koartac AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Isreal Carver in the 54th minute. The corner ended in Isreal Carver almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Beaverdam AFC's Stevie Gaudreau did a great save. If Darnell Carrier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Beaverdam AFC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Sylvestre Thibodeau hit a great ball. 74 minutes into the game, Barton Holloway cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Stevie Gaudreau was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 78 minutes into the game, Josiah Lépicier was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Beaverdam AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Koartac AFC the free kick. A collision led to Beaverdam AFC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Josiah Lépicier hit a great ball. 79 minutes into the match, Koartac AFC's Isreal Carver broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Darnell Carrier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Stevie Gaudreau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Darnell Carrier kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Stevie Gaudreau. That made the score 1-4 in the 93 minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Koartac AFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
