After the first half Finnegan FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sid Michaud to strike the kick off in the second half. Jeffery Riddle was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Geoffroi Eckert showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 55 minute of play. Barton Holloway recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. During the 66th minute of the match Edgardo Jaramillo completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The supporters of Koartac AFC booed when Finnegan FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Koartac AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Koartac AFC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Valentin Smith hit a great ball. Koartac AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 95th minute, when Sid Michaud scored to the left of an out of position Jeffery Riddle, making the score, 1-4. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Finnegan FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
