Tracey Tilley was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Karl Spivey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeffery Riddle having to interfere. Barton Holloway might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tracey Tilley. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Barton Holloway ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 25th minute Lynn Ouellette shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeffery Riddle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the game, Humbert Irizarry was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ripley's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Koartac AFC the free kick. 27 minutes into the game, one of Ripley:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Tracey Tilley, was totally fooled by Koartac AFC's Isreal Carver, who 28 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 51st match minute, Koartac AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Létourneau to maneuver through the defense. Lynn Ouellette could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Jeffery Riddle made a huge save. Ripley's Tracey Tilley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barton Holloway in the 58th minute of play. When Edgardo Jaramillo fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Koartac AFC's protests and gave Edgardo Jaramillo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 59th minute, Edgardo Jaramillo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Through an outstanding action, after 60 minutes, Jeffery Riddle successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Tracey Tilley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Darnell Carrier in the 64th minute of the match. If Barton Holloway had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edgardo Jaramillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tracey Tilley having to interfere. Koartac AFC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
