After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Douglass Best managed to get in a good position for a shot. Frankford FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Douglass Best was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Phillip Beauchesne breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 9 minutes into the match, Myron McKenzie had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Roberto Kirby. Frankford FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Myron McKenzie was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Rosendo Daoust hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Myron McKenzie was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 12th minute. Queens Park Rangers's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 13thth minute of the game Edwin Doiron who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Frankford FC's Roberto Kirby was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Phillip Beauchesne showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Douglass Best, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Roberto Kirby was out of position in the 18 minute of play, and Maxwell Polk capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Maxwell Polk really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. In the 22nd minute, Edwin Doiron reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Roberto Kirby. The goal made the score 3-0. Maxwell Polk's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roberto Kirby read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Edwin Doiron took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Roberto Kirby to make any attempt to save it. Edwin Doiron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto Kirby having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Maxwell Polk could shoot a difficult shot in the 32nd minute, which Roberto Kirby however easily saved by the left post. In the 35th minute, Edwin Doiron fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Roberto Kirby, passed just outside the right post. After 36 played minutes Frankford FC got a freekick which was hit by Josh Corbeil. The supporters of Queens Park Rangers booed when Frankford FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donn Anthony didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Frankford FC defense, Edwin Doiron kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roberto Kirby. The Frankford FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roberto Kirby should have stopped the shot. Myron McKenzie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Roberto Kirby tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Douglass Best sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

After a defensive mix-up in Frankford FC's zone, Edwin Doiron stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roberto Kirby came out of the goal and Edwin Doiron tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Roberto Kirby showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edwin Doiron in the 53rd minute of the match. When Fletcher Yarbrough fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Frankford FC's protests and gave Fletcher Yarbrough a yellow card for diving instead. In the 55th match minute, Frankford FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fletcher Yarbrough to maneuver through the defense. Roberto Kirby came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Queens Park Rangers's Äli Zeynalov. But to his dismay, Äli Zeynalov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. After 64 minutes of play Frankford FC's Fletcher Yarbrough was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In a very dangerous position, a player in Frankford FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 64th minute. Penalty! In the 67th minute there was a penalty for Queens Park Rangers. Myron McKenzie stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Roberto Kirby. 7-0. Maxwell Polk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto Kirby having to interfere. Maxwell Polk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Queens Park Rangers's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
