Spectators: 6732 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1732, VIP seats: 0) Randell Monrency started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Inwood's Jamey Smalls got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 9th minute Jamey Smalls shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvin Bonds saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 13 minutes, Gonzalo Whittington mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Merritt FC and the Inwood players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gonzalo Whittington kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. In the 16th minute, Joachim Betts hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jamey Smalls took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alvin Bonds. Alvin Bonds dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 22nd minute, Chi Léveillé hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alvin Bonds showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jamey Smalls, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Fred Durepos kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. After 30 played minutes Randell Monrency rounded Inwood's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. With an all-out effort, Merritt FC's Arlie Gousse threw himself towards the right post 33 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Randell Monrency, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 35 minutes Inwood's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Galen Lopez who took care of the corner kick. Valentin Lussier made a great header on Merritt FC's corner, it was just that Inwood's Arlie Gousse managed to reach the ball for a save. 37 minutes into the match, Merritt FC's goal looked a bit too open when Chi Léveillé came free, but Alvin Bonds reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jamey Smalls recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alvin Bonds showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chi Léveillé in the 41st minute of the match. Gonzalo Clifton struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Alvin Bonds didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Inwood. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Gonzalo Whittington succeeded in the game's 52nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. Alvin Bonds took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jamey Smalls, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 57 minutes into the match, Merritt FC's goalkeeper Alvin Bonds had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Chi Léveillé. Arlie Gousse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Randell Monrency in the 58th minute of the match. Gonzalo Clifton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Alvin Bonds tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Randell Monrency took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arlie Gousse. Arlie Gousse dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Chi Léveillé struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Alvin Bonds didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Inwood. After 76 played minutes, Merritt FC's Bud Huffman shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Arlie Gousse came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Merritt FC reached it. Jamey Smalls received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Alvin Bonds tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alvin Bonds showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jamey Smalls, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jamey Smalls in the 89th minute of play forced Merritt FC's goalkeeper Alvin Bonds to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Chi Léveillé got free with Alvin Bonds in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jamey Smalls received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Alvin Bonds tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alvin Bonds made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonzalo Clifton in the 93rd minute of play.
