Spectators: 6726 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Karl Spivey started the match with the kick off. Lynn Ouellette received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Roberto Kirby tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Karl Spivey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto Kirby having to interfere. If Lynn Ouellette had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Douglass Best recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lynn Ouellette's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roberto Kirby read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Douglass Best scored 1-0 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tracey Tilley, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 33 played minutes Ripley got a freekick which was hit by Karl Spivey. Demarcus Marcheterre who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 35thth minute tested the skills of Tracey Tilley when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 36 minutes in the game, Douglass Best fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Tracey Tilley having to interfere. Lynn Ouellette took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roberto Kirby. Roberto Kirby dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 44th minute Jeff Doucet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tracey Tilley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Karl Spivey managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ripley's supporters rose to their feet, but Karl Spivey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roberto Kirby breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The supporters of Ripley booed when Frankford FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donn Anthony didn't get a good kick on the ball. Demarcus Marcheterre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tracey Tilley having to interfere. Demarcus Marcheterre struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Tracey Tilley didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Frankford FC. In the 72nd minute Douglass Best shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tracey Tilley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 72nd minute by Lynn Ouellette got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Lucio Harrison fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto Kirby having to interfere. Tracey Tilley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Demarcus Marcheterre in the 76th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 80th minute by Karl Spivey got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Roberto Kirby showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl Spivey, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Karl Spivey kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Roberto Kirby. That made the score 1-2 in the 89 minute of play. In the 94th match minute, Frankford FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Merle Beaujolie to maneuver through the defense. Lynn Ouellette sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Ripley eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
