In the 16th minute, one of Finnegan FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Finnegan FC. Stefan Cardenas walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Duncan Flamand got free with Gilles Hachée in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Minnitaki FC booed when Finnegan FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sid Rodriquez didn't get a good kick on the ball.
