The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Finnegan FC booed when Queens Park Rangers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Äli Zeynalov didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 3rd minute, Bryan Reid got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 5th minute, Geoffroi Eckert got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edwin Doiron struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Gilles Hachée didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Queens Park Rangers. In the 11th minute, Arron Franco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 15th minute, Myron McKenzie left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Queens Park Rangers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Gilles Hachée took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edwin Doiron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Äli Zeynalov took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Gilles Hachée to make any attempt to save it. 27 minutes into the game, Edwin Doiron recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gilles Hachée. Edwin Doiron showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. 37 minutes into the match, Finnegan FC's goal looked a bit too open when Myron McKenzie came free, but Gilles Hachée reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gilles Hachée came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Queens Park Rangers's Maxwell Polk. But to his dismay, Maxwell Polk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Gilles Hachée showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Myron McKenzie in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 44th minute of the match Queens Park Rangers got a corner. Finnegan FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Myron McKenzie ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a rather tough play, Queens Park Rangers's Äli Zeynalov got a free kick in the 44th minute.

After 55 played minutes Finnegan FC got a freekick which was hit by Geoffroi Eckert. Edwin Doiron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 63 minutes into the match, Sid Michaud had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Phillip Beauchesne. Queens Park Rangers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sid Michaud was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Gilles Hachée took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edwin Doiron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 69 minutes of play, Queens Park Rangers's Edwin Doiron made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gilles Hachée was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 74th minute, Arron Franco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Finnegan FC's Gilles Hachée played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edwin Doiron in the 75th minute of play. Gilles Hachée took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Myron McKenzie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Maxwell Polk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maxwell Polk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Gilles Hachée tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gilles Hachée made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Äli Zeynalov in the 84th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Finnegan FC's zone, Edwin Doiron stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gilles Hachée came out of the goal and Edwin Doiron tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Maxwell Polk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Edwin Doiron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilles Hachée having to interfere. In the 90th minute, Maxwell Polk ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gilles Hachée was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Queens Park Rangers fully deserved thier win.
