Spectators: 6718 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1718, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Bruce Sanders kicked off to start the match. Bruce Sanders fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Theodore Nichols having to interfere. Minnitaki FC's Theodore Nichols played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herb Ruel in the 6th minute of play. 6 minutes into the game, Herb Ruel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Theodore Nichols was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bruce Sanders hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruce Sanders in the 13th minute of play forced Minnitaki FC's goalkeeper Theodore Nichols to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Beaverdam AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Carlo Lam came free, but Stevie Gaudreau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Herb Ruel struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Theodore Nichols didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Beaverdam AFC. Will Giguère kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. A collision led to Minnitaki FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Carlo Lam hit a great ball. Duncan Flamands short, quick shot in the 28thth minute got Stevie Gaudreau to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Bruce Sanders had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Beaverdam AFC booed when Minnitaki FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Deandre Carney didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 41 minutes, Herb Ruel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Beaverdam AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Herb Ruel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Minnitaki FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 43rd minute. Penalty! Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Duncan Flamand took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Stevie Gaudreau. Stevie Gaudreau dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 62nd match minute, Beaverdam AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Josiah Lépicier to maneuver through the defense. In the 69th minute, Herb Ruel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 73 minutes into the game, Herb Ruel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Theodore Nichols was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Herb Ruel who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 77thth minute tested the skills of Theodore Nichols when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 78th minute, Duncan Flamand got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Stevie Gaudreau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Duncan Flamand, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sylvestre Thibodeau hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Minnitaki FC's Will Giguère got a free kick in the 91st minute. In the 97thth minute of the game Bruce Sanders who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Minnitaki FC's Theodore Nichols was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match was over Beaverdam AFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Minnitaki FC throughout the match.
