In the 36th minute, Norman Call left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Meteghan FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the last second Jasper Brennan throw himself and got hold of the ball when Norman Call in the 40thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Alfonzo Pearce received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. David Moss tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Meteghan FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Douglastown for a fine match.
