Spectators: 6729 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1729, VIP seats: 0) Sal Hilliard started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 2 minutes into the match, Fitzgerald's Lupe Nunez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fidel Koehler narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Everett Deniger was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sal Hilliard showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. In the 11thth minute of the game Robby Merritt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guigues AFC's Fidel Koehler was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Lupe Nunez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fidel Koehler. Guigues AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lupe Nunez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. When Keenan Chase came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Guigues AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Keenan Chase couldn't finish the play. If Sal Hilliard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 20 minutes into the game, Sal Hilliard lined in a short shot 2-1 behind a frustrated Everett Deniger. 26 minutes in the game, Sal Hilliard fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Everett Deniger having to interfere. Everett Deniger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sal Hilliard, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lupe Nunez in the 30th minute of play forced Guigues AFC's goalkeeper Fidel Koehler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Keenan Chase had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Everett Deniger. Fitzgerald's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Keenan Chase was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. 36 minutes into the match, Guigues AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Robby Merritt came free, but Fidel Koehler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sal Hilliard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fidel Koehler didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Fitzgerald's Robby Merritt shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-3 in the ordered_time% minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Robby Merritt stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Fiacre Garreau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Ray Kilgore fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guigues AFC's protests and gave Ray Kilgore a yellow card for diving instead. After 57 played minutes Guigues AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ray Kilgore. After 61 minutes, Sal Hilliard mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Guigues AFC and the Fitzgerald players grew even worse after the yellow card. Everett Deniger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sal Hilliard, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. 68 minutes into the match, Fitzgerald's goal looked a bit too open when Sal Hilliard came free, but Everett Deniger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Keenan Chase recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 74 minutes into the match, Sal Hilliard notched a goal, 4-3, to the right of Fitzgerald's Everett Deniger. Everett Deniger was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lupe Nunez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Fidel Koehler made a huge save. In the 83rd minute, Sheldon McGill hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fitzgerald's Ross Chabot pulled a muscle in his leg after 87 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Sal Hilliard was shown his second yellow card after 87 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 89th match minute, Guigues AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sal Hilliard to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot 94 in the game by Lupe Nunez from a close distance when the talented Fidel Koehler managed to make a qualified save. Guigues AFC's players were relieved. Lupe Nunez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fidel Koehler having to interfere. Fitzgerald's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
