The referee showed Porter Leonard the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 16th minute Heriberto Sauvé shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Otha Braden saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Quinn Bisaillon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Otha Braden having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Heriberto Sauvé's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Otha Braden was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Heriberto Sauvé struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Otha Braden didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peterborough FC. Otha Braden didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Quinn Bisaillon went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score.

Peterborough FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brancepeth AFC the free kick. After 54 played minutes Peterborough FC got a freekick which was hit by Quinn Bisaillon. Mitchel Smith sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Otha Braden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Quinn Bisaillon in the 59th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Mitchel Smith's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Guy Huntley was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. Quinn Bisaillon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Otha Braden having to interfere. A collision led to Brancepeth AFC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Porter Leonard hit a great ball. Otha Braden took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Quinn Bisaillon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brancepeth AFC's Mitchel Smith got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tyrell Christopher received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Guy Huntley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Peterborough FC booed when Brancepeth AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isaac Singletary didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Quinn Bisaillon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jermaine Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guy Huntley having to interfere. The Peterborough FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
