Spectators: 7637 (Terracing: 5729, Seating: 1756, VIP seats: 152) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jonah Lavoie kicked off to start the match. Wilmer Major fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clément McClellan having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lionel Jacques in the 5th minute of play forced Chimo FC's goalkeeper Clément McClellan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lionel Jacques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Clément McClellan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 11 minutes into the match, CA River Plate's goal looked a bit too open when Jonah Lavoie came free, but Hollis Braden reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Wilmer Major managed to get in a good position for a shot. CA River Plate's supporters rose to their feet, but Wilmer Major was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Clément McClellan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Wilmer Major had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th minute, Wilmer Major got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 22 minutes, Ron Mitchell mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chimo FC and the CA River Plate players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ron Mitchell hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Lionel Jacques struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Clément McClellan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CA River Plate. Clément McClellan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wilmer Major went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. If Karl Létourneau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Clément McClellan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lionel Jacques went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Karl Létourneau succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-0 in the 32nd playminute. Lionel Jacques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Clément McClellan made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Wilmer Major sent off a good shot on target. Wilmer Major struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Clément McClellan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CA River Plate. Edgardo Tompkins could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Clément McClellan made a huge save. In the 43rd minute, Lionel Jacques got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Wilmer Major recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wilmer Major made a kick off. After having played for 55 minutes, Wilmer Major managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CA River Plate's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wilmer Major was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lionel Jacques recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Karl Létourneau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Clément McClellan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edgardo Tompkins took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Clément McClellan. Clément McClellan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Clément McClellan came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by CA River Plate's Karl Létourneau. But to his dismay, Karl Létourneau quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Clément McClellan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl Létourneau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Lionel Jacques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wilmer Major fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clément McClellan having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Chimo FC's Luigi Frazier got a free kick in the 78th minute. Clément McClellan came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by CA River Plate's Wilmer Major. But to his dismay, Wilmer Major quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Clément McClellan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl Létourneau in the 85th minute of play. The supporters of CA River Plate booed when Chimo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shelton Conrad didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 89thth minute of the game Karl Létourneau who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chimo FC's Clément McClellan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. CA River Plate's Wilmer Major got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lionel Jacques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Clément McClellan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. CA River Plate fully deserved thier win.
