After 4 minutes of play, Guigues AFC's Keenan Chase made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Moses Whitaker was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Guigues AFC's zone, Eugene Laramée stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fidel Koehler came out of the goal and Eugene Laramée tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 16 minutes into the match, Kabaigon's goal looked a bit too open when Sal Hilliard came free, but Moses Whitaker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Keenan Chase in the 17th minute of play forced Kabaigon's goalkeeper Moses Whitaker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Guigues AFC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Sheldon McGill hit a great ball. If Sal Hilliard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 22 minutes into the game, Reinaldo Champion was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kabaigon's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Guigues AFC the free kick. Reinaldo Champion hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sal Hilliard during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Kabaigon booed when Guigues AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sal Hilliard didn't get a good kick on the ball. Guigues AFC's Fidel Koehler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Long Bousquet in the 27th minute of play. Roderick Farrar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Fidel Koehler made a huge save. When Eugene Laramée fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kabaigon's protests and gave Eugene Laramée a yellow card for diving instead. In the 33rd match minute, Kabaigon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugene Laramée to maneuver through the defense. In the 34th minute, Keenan Chase ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Moses Whitaker was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. If Long Bousquet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Guigues AFC's goalkeeper Fidel Koehler, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Kabaigon players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Guigues AFC were winning 0-2.

After having played for 52 minutes, Gérard Lacharité managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guigues AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gérard Lacharité was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Kabaigon's Vance Hébert got a free kick in the 53rd minute. When Sal Hilliard came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Guigues AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sal Hilliard couldn't finish the play. 67 minutes into the game, Keenan Chase recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Moses Whitaker. Keenan Chase showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. In the 77th minute, Gérard Lacharité hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 78th minute of the match Quentin Ayers sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fidel Koehler skillfully saved the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 84 minutes, Moses Whitaker successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 91 minutes into the game, Roderick Farrar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Fidel Koehler was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Guigues AFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
