Spectators: 6737 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1737, VIP seats: 0) Donnaconna's Leonel Boyles started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Maria Whalen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Ned Pike tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maria Whalens short, quick shot in the 7thth minute got Ned Pike to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Rigoulette AFC's Maria Whalen got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rigoulette AFC's Ermenegilde Stiles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonel Boyles in the 12th minute of play. Forrest McClelland scored 0-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ermenegilde Stiles, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 21st minute Deandre Avila shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ned Pike saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Forrest McClelland in the 24th minute of play forced Rigoulette AFC's goalkeeper Ermenegilde Stiles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Forrest McClelland in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ermenegilde Stiles saved Rigoulette AFC from getting behind. In the 32nd minute Leonel Boyles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ermenegilde Stiles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 40 played minutes Rigoulette AFC got a freekick which was hit by Sherwood Duclos. When Donnaconna's Forrest McClelland in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rigoulette AFC's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Donnaconna's zone, Deandre Avila stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ned Pike came out of the goal and Deandre Avila tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Rigoulette AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Donnaconna were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Deandre Avila stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hilton Dailey during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 53rd match minute, Donnaconna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hilton Dailey to maneuver through the defense. Wilford Ricard might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ned Pike. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wilford Ricard ran back to his position shaking his head. Ned Pike showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Deandre Avila, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Ned Pike took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maria Whalen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Leonel Boyles's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ermenegilde Stiles was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. Donnaconna's Ned Pike played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Deandre Avila in the 69th minute of play. Deandre Avila sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maria Whalen in the 73rd minute of play forced Donnaconna's goalkeeper Ned Pike to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dillon Carlson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Raphael Weaver fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Donnaconna's protests and gave Raphael Weaver a yellow card for diving instead. Raphael Weaver kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. In the 87th minute, Wilford Ricard sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Donnaconna's Ned Pike didn't even have to move. Raphael Weaver hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Ermenegilde Stiles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonel Boyles, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. The Rigoulette AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Donnaconna's performance. The match ended with a win for Donnaconna.
