The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jonah Lavoie was the one to do the kick off. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Everett Deniger prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Earl Douffett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Everett Deniger made an important save on a dangerous shot by Earl Douffett in the 69th minute. In the 71st minute Robby Merritt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clément McClellan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Everett Deniger made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The Chimo FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Fitzgerald from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
