Spectators: 6727 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1727, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Quinn Bisaillon started the match with the kick off. Earl Douffett received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Guy Huntley came out and tried to block the shot, but Earl Douffett slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 4th minute. Guy Huntley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonah Lavoie in the 14th minute of play. When the match clock showed 22 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Quinn Bisaillon sped through Chimo FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Clément McClellan. In the 26th minute of the match Allan Regan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Clément McClellan skillfully saved the ball. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Heriberto Sauvé put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Clément McClellan. Heriberto Sauvé sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd minute Quinn Bisaillon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clément McClellan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 46 minutes into the match, Peterborough FC's goalkeeper Guy Huntley had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Earl Douffett. Ron Mitchell's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Guy Huntley read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 50th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Heriberto Sauvé recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Earl Douffett came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Chimo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Earl Douffett couldn't finish the play. Guy Huntley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonah Lavoie in the 60th minute of the match. 63 minutes into the game, Quinn Bisaillon lined in a short shot 2-3 behind a frustrated Clément McClellan. Guy Huntley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonah Lavoie in the 72nd minute of play. Quinn Bisaillon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Clément McClellan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guy Huntley didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Earl Douffett went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. If Earl Douffett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 83 minutes into the match, Ron Mitchell had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Guy Huntley. Peterborough FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ron Mitchell was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-3. After having played for 98 minutes, Heriberto Sauvé managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peterborough FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Heriberto Sauvé was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Chimo FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Peterborough FC for a fine match.
