The tension between the Foothills United and the Didyme AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Hervé Sutton hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. After 10 played minutes, Didyme AFC's Lynwood Chacon shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jan Sweet came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Didyme AFC reached it. In the 12th minute Dino Clemons shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Sweet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th minute, Léandre Hétu made a precise shot to the right of Kevin Boivin. Didyme AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dino Clemons in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jan Sweet prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Valéry Lange sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 22nd minute, Léandre Hétu made a precise shot to the right of Kevin Boivin. Didyme AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Léandre Hétu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Kevin Boivin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 29 minutes, Léandre Hétu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Foothills United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Léandre Hétu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 33rd minute, Léandre Hétu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 44th minute, Shelton Guzman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Foothills United's Bret Steele couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 45th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Didyme AFC. If Léandre Hétu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Léandre Hétu in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kevin Boivin saved Didyme AFC from getting behind. Foothills United were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after Didyme AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bret Steele took the corner. The corner ended in Bret Steele almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Didyme AFC's Kevin Boivin did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valéry Lange in the 56th minute of play forced Didyme AFC's goalkeeper Kevin Boivin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 56 played minutes Didyme AFC got a freekick which was hit by Charley Giguère. Richard Stjohn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 66 minutes, Léandre Hétu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Foothills United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Léandre Hétu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kelley Smart hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Valéry Lange's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kevin Boivin was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. 71 minutes into the match, Léandre Hétu notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Didyme AFC's Kevin Boivin. Kevin Boivin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Richard Stjohn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Léandre Hétu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kevin Boivin having to interfere. When Foothills United's Valéry Lange in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Didyme AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Valéry Lange received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Kevin Boivin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valéry Lange in the 89th minute of play. In the 91st match minute, Foothills United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Léandre Hétu to maneuver through the defense. Kevin Boivin came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Foothills United's Richie Esparza. But to his dismay, Richie Esparza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0.
