Marcellin Warren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Richard Stjohn in the 16th minute. Saul Lund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Kevin Boivin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcellin Warren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dino Clemons, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Willie Huot kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dino Clemons in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcellin Warren saved Povungnetuk from getting behind. Richard Stjohn's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcellin Warren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. Dino Clemons received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Marcellin Warren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enoch Christiansen in the 39th minute of play forced Didyme AFC's goalkeeper Kevin Boivin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kevin Boivin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enoch Christiansen in the 43rd minute of play. If Dino Clemons had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Didyme AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Povungnetuk were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dino Clemons to make the kick off. After some careless play in the Povungnetuk defense, Richard Stjohn kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcellin Warren. The Povungnetuk fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcellin Warren should have stopped the shot. 57 minutes into the match, Povungnetuk's goal looked a bit too open when Dino Clemons came free, but Marcellin Warren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kevin Boivin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enoch Christiansen in the 60th minute of play. After 62 minutes of play, Didyme AFC's Dino Clemons made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcellin Warren was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Saul Lund came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Povungnetuk fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Saul Lund couldn't finish the play. If Richard Stjohn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Enoch Christiansen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kevin Boivin was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. In the 86th match minute, Didyme AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Shelton Guzman to maneuver through the defense. Kevin Boivin was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Enoch Christiansen showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 97 minute of play.
