Patrick Thurman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stanford Connor in the 6th minute of play. Forest Starks kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Cody Mayes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cole Barnard, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 15th minute Cole Barnard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cody Mayes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erik Steward in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Patrick Thurman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cole Barnard recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Stanford Connor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Patrick Thurman made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Ferdinand Langlais sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cole Barnard in the 49th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cody Mayes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Patrick Thurman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stanford Connor in the 55th minute of the match. When Rod Phillips came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Ashern AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rod Phillips couldn't finish the play. Cole Barnard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Tudhope's zone, Rod Phillips stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cody Mayes came out of the goal and Rod Phillips tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cody Mayes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cole Barnard in the 67th minute of the match. When Rod Phillips came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Ashern AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rod Phillips couldn't finish the play. Rod Phillips fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cody Mayes having to interfere. Rod Phillips sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Patrick Thurman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stanford Connor's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. Cole Barnard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cody Mayes having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Tudhope had won after a very even match.
