The audience was convinced that Bart Ramos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Britt Rose was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Gallows's Britt Rose played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Humbert Starr in the 25th minute of play. Paris Goins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cyrille Simmons having to interfere. 27 minutes into the match, Luke Lin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cyrille Simmons. Fingal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luke Lin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Cyrille Simmons was out of position in the 32 minute of play, and Luke Lin capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Luke Lin really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. A collision led to Gallows getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Germain Bauer hit a great ball. In the 35thth minute of the game Humbert Starr who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gallows's Britt Rose was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Gallows booed when Fingal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Norbert Comer didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Fingal's zone, Hilaire Paige stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cyrille Simmons came out of the goal and Hilaire Paige tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bart Ramos took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Britt Rose. Britt Rose dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. In the 46th minute, Yves Weller hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Luke Lin made the kick off in the second half. The Gallows fans' excitement grew in the 59th match minute when Gallows's Paris Goins looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Kirby Browning hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Britt Rose acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 70th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Clair Melendez. After 71 minutes, Germain Bauer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gallows and the Fingal players grew even worse after the yellow card. Germain Bauer hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zachary Valentin got free with Britt Rose in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Paris Goins managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gallows's supporters rose to their feet, but Paris Goins was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cyrille Simmons breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Luke Lin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 86 minutes into the match, Fingal's goal looked a bit too open when Luke Lin came free, but Cyrille Simmons reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
