After 10 minutes of play, Forest's Hipolito Goins made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jackie Desnoyers was left in no man's land by his defense there! Clemente Stephens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Urbain Parish in the 19th minute of play. Hipolito Goins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jackie Desnoyers having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, Ahmad Burnham got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Hipolito Goins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th match minute, Edmonton Soccer Centre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antoine Potts to maneuver through the defense. In the 27th minute, Hipolito Goins left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Forest fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Edmonton Soccer Centre's zone, Ahmad Burnham stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jackie Desnoyers came out of the goal and Ahmad Burnham tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edmonton Soccer Centre's Jackie Desnoyers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hipolito Goins in the 32nd minute of play. Jackie Desnoyers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hipolito Goins in the 39th minute of play. When Forest's Ernest Doran in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Edmonton Soccer Centre's goalie prevented a goal. Jackie Desnoyers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmad Burnham in the 44th minute of play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Urbain Parish to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ernest Doran got free with Jackie Desnoyers in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Edmonton Soccer Centre's defense didn't have a chance, in the 58th minute, when Hipolito Goins scored to the left of an out of position Jackie Desnoyers, making the score, 0-3. Ernest Doran came free with the goalkeeper in the 61st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jackie Desnoyers could save by the left post. Jackie Desnoyers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hipolito Goins in the 63rd minute of the match. After 66 played minutes, Edmonton Soccer Centre's Valentin Butler shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Clemente Stephens came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Edmonton Soccer Centre reached it. In the 68th minute Urbain Parish shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clemente Stephens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Forest's goalkeeper Clemente Stephens, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Clemente Stephens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antoine Potts, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. A collision led to Forest getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Oren Gaines hit a great ball. Otto Dube sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Urbain Parish sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 94 minutes into the game, Oren Gaines cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Jackie Desnoyers was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Forest's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
