In the 16th minute Dale Esparza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Refugio Bean saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Diego Stewart was the one to do the kick off. Boniface Fleming made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eduardo McIntosh in the 52nd minute. Refugio Bean didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dale Esparza went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dale Esparza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Refugio Bean having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Lavaltrie AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Consort AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
