The supporters of Consort AFC booed when Rorketon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurelien Kohler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eduardo McIntosh got free with Aurelien Kohler in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Diego Stewart came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Consort AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diego Stewart couldn't finish the play. Aurelien Kohler made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Eduardo McIntosh sent off a good shot on target. Aurelien Kohler didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 40th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. After a rather tough play, Consort AFC's Kenneth Langston got a free kick in the 45th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Diego Stewart was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Rorketon's zone, Diego Stewart stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aurelien Kohler came out of the goal and Diego Stewart tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Eduardo McIntosh came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Consort AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eduardo McIntosh couldn't finish the play. Eduardo McIntosh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Diego Stewart managed to get in a good position for a shot. Consort AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Diego Stewart was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aurelien Kohler breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
