Antoine Potts really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. 24 minutes into the match, Lavaltrie AFC's goalkeeper Boniface Fleming had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antoine Potts. Jackie Desnoyers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Terence Gibson, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. After 27 minutes, Raphaël Horn mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lavaltrie AFC and the Edmonton Soccer Centre players grew even worse after the yellow card. Lavaltrie AFC's Boniface Fleming played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Urbain Parish in the 75th minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Terence Gibson notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Edmonton Soccer Centre's Jackie Desnoyers. Jackie Desnoyers was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
