The goalkeeper, Darron Paige, was totally fooled by Mazenod FC's Charlie Overton, who 15 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Josh Garza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Darron Paige having to interfere. Art Gaulin hit a great ball. 31 minutes into the game, Art Gaulin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Darron Paige. Art Gaulin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. After 35 minutes, Miguel Mabry mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mazenod FC and the Trossachs AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alain Covington hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Art Gaulin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Trossachs AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Art Gaulin came free, but Darron Paige reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
