Spectators: 6737 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1737, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Urbain Parish kicked off to start the match. Virgilio Guy's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 6thth minute, Jackie Desnoyers skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Virgilio Guy got free with Jackie Desnoyers in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Antoine Potts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Virgilio Guy in the 19thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jackie Desnoyers, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Fernand Coates didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Antoine Potts went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Dale Jodion sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Urbain Parish recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 35th minute, Dale Jodion fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Dale Jodion sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Antoine Potts recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edmonton Soccer Centre's Jackie Desnoyers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dale Jodion in the 43rd minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dale Jodion to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Dale Jodion shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jackie Desnoyers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 55th minute, Antoine Potts got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 56 minutes into the game, Dwain Beaulé was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cormorant FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Edmonton Soccer Centre the free kick. The supporters of Edmonton Soccer Centre booed when Cormorant FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dwain Beaulé didn't get a good kick on the ball. Antoine Potts received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Fernand Coates tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Urbain Parish was extremely unlucky when he, in the 60th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Jackie Desnoyers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dale Jodion, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Dale Jodion's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jackie Desnoyers read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. Virgilio Guy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jackie Desnoyers having to interfere. Dale Jodion kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. A hard shot 93 in the game by Antoine Potts from a close distance when the talented Fernand Coates managed to make a qualified save. Cormorant FC's players were relieved. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Edmonton Soccer Centre had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
