To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Diego Stewart recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leslie Pope took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diego Stewart, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 1-1 became the score in the 67th minute when Diego Stewart elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Consort AFC's goalkeeper Refugio Bean, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 77th match minute, Coniston was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rick Grandbois to maneuver through the defense. After 78 minutes, Kenneth Langston mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Consort AFC and the Coniston players grew even worse after the yellow card.
