Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Dale Jodion kicked off to start the match. Timothy Landers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Virgilio Guy, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. A collision led to Cormorant FC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Ernesto Bowden hit a great ball. In the 8th minute Virgilio Guy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Timothy Landers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Timothy Landers didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Virgilio Guy went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Dwayne Hawley hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Cormorant FC's Bruce Burroughs got a free kick in the 16th minute. If Cecil Benavides had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 23 minutes into the match, Cormorant FC's goalkeeper Fernand Coates had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cecil Benavides. İlkan Karlukhan might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fernand Coates. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. İlkan Karlukhan ran back to his position shaking his head. Efren Larkin kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the game, Dale Jodion cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Timothy Landers was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fernand Coates made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Davis Rowell sent off a good shot on target. In the 35th minute, Virgilio Guy left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cormorant FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. If Cecil Benavides had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Davis Rowell took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fernand Coates. Fernand Coates dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. The Newbrook AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Cormorant FC were winning 1-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cecil Benavides to strike the kick off in the second half. If Davis Rowell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fernand Coates stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cecil Benavides's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. When Leandro Ducharme came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Newbrook AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leandro Ducharme couldn't finish the play. Cecil Benavides recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leandro Ducharme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Timothy Landers made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Efren Larkin sent off a good shot on target. Newbrook AFC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Dale Jodion 76 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-4. Cormorant FC's Fernand Coates played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leandro Ducharme in the 79th minute of play. After having played for 86 minutes, Cecil Benavides managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Newbrook AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cecil Benavides was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Newbrook AFC's Cecil Benavides got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Cecil Benavides's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fernand Coates was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Newbrook AFC lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
