Spectators: 6761 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1761, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Cecil Benavides made the kick off which started today's match. In the 8th minute of the match Andrew Routhier sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lauren Rankin skillfully saved the ball. In the 14thth minute of the game Cecil Benavides who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bonavista's Lauren Rankin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, İlkan Karlukhan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Newbrook AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but İlkan Karlukhan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lauren Rankin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cecil Benavides recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cecil Benavides received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Lauren Rankin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Timothy Landers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gene Soucy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Bonavista's zone, Cecil Benavides stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lauren Rankin came out of the goal and Cecil Benavides tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Cecil Benavides put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Lauren Rankin. After having played for 45 minutes, Davis Rowell managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Newbrook AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Davis Rowell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Gene Soucy made the kick off in the second half. Newbrook AFC's Leandro Ducharme got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cecil Benavides succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-6 in the 53rd playminute. Davis Rowell could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Lauren Rankin made a huge save. With a little luck, Bonavista's Lauren Rankin got control of the ball when Davis Rowell tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 57th match minute, Bonavista was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Onesime Forrest to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 63 minutes, Cecil Benavides managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Newbrook AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cecil Benavides was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. İlkan Karlukhan struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Lauren Rankin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Newbrook AFC. Cecil Benavides's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 69thth minute, Lauren Rankin skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Davis Rowell got free with Lauren Rankin in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 74th minute of the match Darin Morales shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Timothy Landers showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Newbrook AFC's Cecil Benavides in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bonavista's goalie prevented a goal. After 77th play minutes Cecil Benavides shot 0-7, a short shot which went by Lauren Rankin and just under the crossbar into goal. İlkan Karlukhan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Lauren Rankin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by İlkan Karlukhan in the 85th minute of play forced Bonavista's goalkeeper Lauren Rankin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lauren Rankin made an important save on a dangerous shot by İlkan Karlukhan in the 86th minute. When Bonavista's Bryant Lovett in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Newbrook AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Leandro Ducharme might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lauren Rankin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leandro Ducharme ran back to his position shaking his head. 90 minutes into the match, Cecil Benavides dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Lauren Rankin, 0-8. In the 93rd match minute, Newbrook AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrew Routhier to maneuver through the defense. The Bonavista fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Newbrook AFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
