Lyle Baldwin struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Ben Tucker didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Coniston. If Graig Dunlap had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th minute, Josh Garza made a precise shot to the right of Leslie Pope. Coniston's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. The supporters of Coniston booed when Mazenod FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Constant Koehler didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ben Tucker made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Lyle Baldwin sent off a good shot on target. Art Gaulin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 26 minutes into the match, Coniston's goal looked a bit too open when Art Gaulin came free, but Leslie Pope reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leslie Pope showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Art Gaulin in the 26th minute of the match. Josh Garza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leslie Pope having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ricardo Wang during the 48th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ricardo Wang hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. Ben Tucker made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lyle Baldwin in the 49th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Graig Dunlap was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Lyle Baldwin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Coniston's Graig Dunlap got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ben Tucker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lyle Baldwin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Coniston's Leslie Pope played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Art Gaulin in the 81st minute of play. Graig Dunlap struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Ben Tucker didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Coniston. Josh Garza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 93rd match minute, Mazenod FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Constant Koehler to maneuver through the defense. When Graig Dunlap came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Coniston fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Graig Dunlap couldn't finish the play. Lyle Baldwin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ben Tucker having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
