Aurelien Kohler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Urbain Parish in the 18th minute of the match. If Gale Canales had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Rorketon's zone, Antoine Potts stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aurelien Kohler came out of the goal and Antoine Potts tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The corner led Rorketon's Jae Enriquez to fire away a dangerous shot which Jackie Desnoyers despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Alec Prather received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Jackie Desnoyers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Antoine Potts's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aurelien Kohler was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Willie Hubbard hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Edmonton Soccer Centre's Blaine Early tried to score from far away in the 54th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Rorketon's Aurelien Kohler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antoine Potts in the 55th minute of play. A collision led to Rorketon getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Marlin Swift hit a great ball. Aurelien Kohler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Urbain Parish, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Blaine Early took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 58th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Aurelien Kohler. Rorketon's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Antoine Potts received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Aurelien Kohler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Urbain Parish sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 72 minutes into the match, Rorketon's goal looked a bit too open when Urbain Parish came free, but Aurelien Kohler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 73 minutes, Urbain Parish managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Edmonton Soccer Centre's supporters crossed their fingers, but Urbain Parish was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Urbain Parish hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Jeremy Stein kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. 83 minutes into the game, Antoine Potts cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Aurelien Kohler was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Edmonton Soccer Centre's Jackie Desnoyers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alec Prather in the 87th minute of play. In the 88th minute Antoine Potts shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelien Kohler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 95 played minutes Rorketon got a freekick which was hit by Jackie Medrano. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Edmonton Soccer Centre had won after a very even match.
