Buddy Lancaster made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donnie L'Heureux in the 7th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Carroll Bonds managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lawnhill AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Carroll Bonds was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Buddy Lancaster breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 10 minutes into the match, Carroll Bonds dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Buddy Lancaster, 1-0. A collision led to Shere getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Sid Brault hit a great ball. Tristan Waddell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carroll Bonds scored 2-0 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Buddy Lancaster, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Norbert Verreau fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Shere's protests and gave Norbert Verreau a yellow card for diving instead. After 31 played minutes Shere got a freekick which was hit by Norbert Verreau. After having played for 33 minutes, Donnie L'Heureux managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lawnhill AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Donnie L'Heureux was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 34 minutes, Rodolph Barrette mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lawnhill AFC and the Shere players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 34th match minute, Lawnhill AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodolph Barrette to maneuver through the defense. In the 35th minute Edgar Robillard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Markus Tatum saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Markus Tatum took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sid Brault, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tristan Waddell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edgar Robillard made a kick off. Carroll Bonds received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Buddy Lancaster tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Buddy Lancaster showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carroll Bonds, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Shere's Tristan Waddell got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Donnie L'Heureux received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Buddy Lancaster tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sid Brault kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Carroll Bonds fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Buddy Lancaster having to interfere. Lawnhill AFC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Shere for a fine match.
