Spectators: 7779 (Terracing: 5915, Seating: 1814, VIP seats: 50) Toronto Wolfpack's Clarence Rainey started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Abbottsford's Sang Tardif got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 5thth minute of the game Kevin Bryant who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Toronto Wolfpack's Guy Hamlin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Guy Hamlin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sang Tardif in the 6th minute of play. After 7 minutes, Kevin Bryant made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Toronto Wolfpack's Guy Hamlin tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 13th match minute, Toronto Wolfpack was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lincoln Link to maneuver through the defense. Sang Tardif fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guy Hamlin having to interfere. 16 minutes into the match, Toronto Wolfpack's goal looked a bit too open when Kevin Bryant came free, but Guy Hamlin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lincoln Link hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. 20 minutes into the match, Abbottsford's goal looked a bit too open when Lincoln Link came free, but John Stein reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute of the match, Colin Deleon got a very nice opportunity to score, but John Stein was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The supporters of Abbottsford booed when Toronto Wolfpack was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Régis Parenteau didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 31 minutes, Clarence Rainey managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Toronto Wolfpack's supporters crossed their fingers, but Clarence Rainey was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Abbottsford's John Stein got control of the ball when Harry Nesbitt tried to sneak it across the goal line. Philip Rucker kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. 35 minutes into the match, Toronto Wolfpack's goal looked a bit too open when Kevin Bryant came free, but Guy Hamlin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kevin Bryant fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guy Hamlin having to interfere. Kevin Bryant recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 41st minute Kevin Bryant shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guy Hamlin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abbottsford's Sang Tardif got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kevin Bryant stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Guy Hamlin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Didier Valle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Toronto Wolfpack's Guy Hamlin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Didier Valle in the 58th minute of play. Kevin Bryant sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Toronto Wolfpack's Guy Hamlin got control of the ball when Sang Tardif tried to sneak it across the goal line. Abbottsford's John Stein played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clarence Rainey in the 64th minute of play. In the 66th minute of the match Régis Parenteau sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but John Stein skillfully saved the ball. With a little luck, Toronto Wolfpack's Guy Hamlin got control of the ball when Sang Tardif tried to sneak it across the goal line. Guy Hamlin stood somewhat misplaced when Kevin Bryant came free in front of goal and shot 0-2 to the left of him in the 70 minute. Guy Hamlin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kevin Bryant in the 73rd minute of the match. When Abbottsford's Sang Tardif in 76 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Guy Hamlin guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. 83 minutes into the match, Philip Rucker notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Toronto Wolfpack's Guy Hamlin. Guy Hamlin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 88th match minute, Abbottsford was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Philip Rucker to maneuver through the defense. Toronto Wolfpack's Guy Hamlin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Toronto Wolfpack from getting a goal against them. Sang Tardif's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 93rdth minute, Guy Hamlin skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Guy Hamlin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kevin Bryant, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guy Hamlin made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Sang Tardif sent off a good shot on target. When the match was over Abbottsford could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Toronto Wolfpack throughout the match.
