Maximo Maldonado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot 6 in the game by Pierre Boyd from a close distance when the talented Cornell Bisaillon managed to make a qualified save. Dominion's players were relieved. 8 minutes into the game, Jean Courtois was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Delph FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dominion the free kick. Jean Courtois kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Raul Vadnais made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carrol Chaloux in the 9th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Émilien Racicot got free with Cornell Bisaillon in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Emmett Swift fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Delph FC's protests and gave Emmett Swift a yellow card for diving instead. In the 19th minute, Emmett Swift hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dennis Despins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carrol Chaloux took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Raul Vadnais. Raul Vadnais dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 26 minutes into the match, Delph FC's goal looked a bit too open when Maximo Maldonado came free, but Raul Vadnais reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cornell Bisaillon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pierre Boyd went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Buford Dubois got free with Cornell Bisaillon in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Buford Dubois could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Cornell Bisaillon made a huge save. Dominion's Cornell Bisaillon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Émilien Racicot in the 34th minute of play. In the 45th minute Émilien Racicot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cornell Bisaillon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carrol Chaloux fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raul Vadnais having to interfere. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Émilien Racicot was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute Pierre Boyd shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cornell Bisaillon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 53 minutes into the game, Ervin Talbot was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ervin Talbot hit a great ball. In the 55th minute of the match Gérard Hopper shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cornell Bisaillon showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Maximo Maldonado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dominion's supporters rose to their feet, but Maximo Maldonado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raul Vadnais breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 59th minute Émilien Racicot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cornell Bisaillon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot by Glen Mabry from long distance, 61 minutes into the match, got Raul Vadnais's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Dominion's Cornell Bisaillon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Émilien Racicot in the 63rd minute of play. Ervin Talbot was shown his second yellow card after 63 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Cornell Bisaillon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Émilien Racicot in the 66th minute of the match. Pierre Boyd recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emmett Swift kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Dominion were furious when Tracey Faust was red carded, 79 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 78 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Dominion! In the 80th minute there was a penalty for Delph FC. Gérard Hopper stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Cornell Bisaillon. 2-2. After some careless play in the Dominion defense, Émilien Racicot kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cornell Bisaillon. The Dominion fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cornell Bisaillon should have stopped the shot. Cornell Bisaillon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pierre Boyd in the 94th minute of the match.
