Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Scotia FC's Yves Lyons started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Matthew Kimbrough took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faustino Pritchard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Matthew Kimbrough came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Liverpool's Ron Burke. But to his dismay, Ron Burke quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Matthew Kimbrough made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ron Burke in the 43rd minute of play. A throw-in in the 45th minute of the game was made by Ron Burke with Jean Croteau as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Alexandre Blue's late challenge caught a Scotia FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gerald Robert could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Matthew Kimbrough made a huge save. Liverpool played a much better game than Scotia FC and deserved their victory. The Scotia FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
