Rodolph Carlson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vincenzo Rossignol having to interfere. Mark Carmona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Parker Chadwick having to interfere. With a little luck, San Roque FC's Vincenzo Rossignol got control of the ball when Rodolph Carlson tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 28 minutes, Rodolph Carlson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Apex AFC and the San Roque FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 42nd match minute, San Roque FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jimmy Crowe to maneuver through the defense. Apex AFC's Valentin Douffett couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for San Roque FC. Vincenzo Rossignol made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Rodolph Carlson sent off a good shot on target. If Rodolph Carlson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Apex AFC fans' excitement grew in the 48th match minute when Apex AFC's Bret Caron looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dean Bourgeois stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Mark Carmona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Rodolph Carlson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vincenzo Rossignol was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodolph Carlson in the 60th minute of play forced San Roque FC's goalkeeper Vincenzo Rossignol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dean Bourgeois received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Parker Chadwick came out and tried to block the shot, but Dean Bourgeois slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 63rd minute. Toby Loyd kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Apex AFC's zone, Dean Bourgeois stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Parker Chadwick came out of the goal and Dean Bourgeois tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bret Caron in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vincenzo Rossignol prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Parker Chadwick made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Mark Carmona sent off a good shot on target. If Bret Caron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th minute, Jimmy Crowe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Dean Bourgeois came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the San Roque FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dean Bourgeois couldn't finish the play. In the 82nd minute Dean Bourgeois shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Parker Chadwick saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Bret Caron managed to get in a good position for a shot. Apex AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bret Caron was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vincenzo Rossignol breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vincenzo Rossignol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bret Caron in the 96th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Apex AFC had won after a very even match.
