Frederick Boswell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shayne Welch, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Carmelo Bienvenue charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carmelo Bienvenue the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Mont-Tremblant booed when Manchester United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carmelo Bienvenue didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Shayne Welch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 26 minutes, Ferdinand Guillory managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mont-Tremblant's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ferdinand Guillory was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Carmelo Bienvenue hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute, Shayne Welch made a precise shot to the right of Frederick Boswell. Manchester United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Frederick Boswell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jackson Bishop in the 34th minute of play. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Jackson Bishop made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Jackson Bishop shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frederick Boswell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But to his dismay, Modestine Flint quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. In the 67th minute, Jackson Bishop ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Frederick Boswell was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5.
