Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ulysses Cooley got the match started through his kick off. Leigh Bérubé sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Bradly Powell managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fitzgerald's supporters rose to their feet, but Bradly Powell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gail Dickens breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 8 minutes, Weldon Hatfield mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fitzgerald and the Wiseton players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 8 played minutes Fitzgerald got a freekick which was hit by Weldon Hatfield. When Earle Ledbetter fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wiseton's protests and gave Earle Ledbetter a yellow card for diving instead. Earle Ledbetter hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. The supporters of Wiseton booed when Fitzgerald was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnulfo Potts didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 14th minute, Bradly Powell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Earle Ledbetter hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 17th minute, Leigh Bérubé got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Ulysses Cooley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emmett Burks during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 27 minutes into the game, one of Wiseton:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 31stth minute of the game Ulysses Cooley who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fitzgerald's Kenton Bouchard was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bradly Powell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gail Dickens having to interfere. Derek Heller sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 41 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Fitzgerald's Bradly Powell fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Ulysses Cooley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Kenton Bouchard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

In the 54th match minute, Fitzgerald was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilbur Cruz to maneuver through the defense. Wiseton's Ulysses Cooley got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Leigh Bérubé came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Fitzgerald fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leigh Bérubé couldn't finish the play. Wiseton's Gail Dickens proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Wiseton from getting a goal against them. Leigh Bérubé sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bradly Powell in the 67th minute of play forced Wiseton's goalkeeper Gail Dickens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 70thth minute of the game Derek Heller who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fitzgerald's Kenton Bouchard was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kenton Bouchard stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ulysses Cooley's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. After 72 played minutes Fitzgerald got a freekick which was hit by Arnulfo Potts. When Leigh Bérubé came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Fitzgerald fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leigh Bérubé couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Fitzgerald's Weldon Hatfield got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Fitzgerald's Kenton Bouchard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Derek Heller in the 90th minute of play. After 92 played minutes Wiseton got a freekick which was hit by Désiré Pollard. Gail Dickens was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Sherwood Reyna. Kenton Bouchard came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Wiseton's Derek Heller. But to his dismay, Derek Heller quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Wiseton had won after a very even match.
