Harvey AFC's Lowell Beausoleil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bobby Cruz in the 16th minute of play. The Canyon fans' excitement grew in the 23rd match minute when Canyon's Bobby Cruz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Stevie Traylor charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stevie Traylor the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Stevie Traylor hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. 30 minutes into the match, Bobby Cruz notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Harvey AFC's Lowell Beausoleil. Lowell Beausoleil was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 33 minutes into the match, Canyon's goal looked a bit too open when Émile Isaac came free, but Lane Lereau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edgard Burt was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 35th minute. Harvey AFC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Edgard Burt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Bobby Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lowell Beausoleil didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bobby Cruz went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Malcolm Lincoln blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lowell Beausoleil having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Canyon's Alphonse Lott got a free kick in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Émile Isaac made a kick off. Lowell Beausoleil made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Malcolm Lincoln sent off a good shot on target. Bobby Cruz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Lowell Beausoleil made a huge save. A collision led to Harvey AFC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Warren Harden hit a great ball. Lowell Beausoleil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Malcolm Lincoln, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 61 played minutes Canyon got a freekick which was hit by Bobby Cruz. If Bobby Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Malcolm Lincoln fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lowell Beausoleil having to interfere. 70 minutes into the match, Harvey AFC's goalkeeper Lowell Beausoleil had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bobby Cruz. If Malcolm Lincoln had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 72 played minutes Harvey AFC got a freekick which was hit by Stevie Traylor. After 75 played minutes Malcolm Lincoln rounded Harvey AFC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-4. Malcolm Lincoln was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 80th minute. Canyon's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Canyon's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
