The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 63rdth minute of the game Odell Atkinson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gargoyle FC's Rafael Andrade was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Olin Stapleton fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gargoyle FC's protests and gave Olin Stapleton a yellow card for diving instead. Olin Stapleton kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Gargoyle FC's Carey Faure got a free kick in the 89th minute. 92 minutes into the match, Gargoyle FC's goal looked a bit too open when Odell Atkinson came free, but Rafael Andrade reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Yarker had won after a very even match.
