Spectators: 7061 (Terracing: 6061, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Conrad Glass in the 4th minute of play forced Yarker's goalkeeper Luc Minton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Donny Worthington had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Odell Atkinsons short, quick shot in the 7thth minute got Cordell Friend to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 9th match minute, Denver Hot Dogs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elliott Reynolds to maneuver through the defense. Javier Eckert was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 11 minutes into the match. After 12 played minutes Yarker got a freekick which was hit by Javier Eckert. An unexpected shot in the 16th minute by Odell Atkinson got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 16 minutes into the game, Odell Atkinson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Cordell Friend was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cordell Friend made an important save on a dangerous shot by Odell Atkinson in the 19th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Darrin Deblois notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Yarker's Luc Minton. Luc Minton was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 27 minutes into the game, Darrin Deblois cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Luc Minton was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Yarker's Luc Minton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mathew Lackey in the 32nd minute of play. 38 minutes into the game, Denver Hot Dogs's Conrad Glass nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luc Minton made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. Conrad Glass hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. After 42 played minutes Yarker got a freekick which was hit by Sheldon Trotter. Odell Atkinson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Cordell Friend tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46th minute Donny Worthington shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cordell Friend saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Denver Hot Dogs were leading 1-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mathew Lackey stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes, Darrin Deblois mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Denver Hot Dogs and the Yarker players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Denver Hot Dogs getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Darrin Deblois hit a great ball. 54 minutes into the match, Yarker's goal looked a bit too open when Mathew Lackey came free, but Luc Minton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Denver Hot Dogs's Luc Minton threw himself towards the right post 55 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Conrad Glass, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 57th minute Edwin Chalut shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luc Minton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Yarker booed when Denver Hot Dogs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Darrin Brewer didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Odell Atkinson put it in 2-5 from a short distance just to the right of Cordell Friend. Elliott Reynolds could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Luc Minton made a huge save. In the 74th match minute, Denver Hot Dogs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hai Ransom to maneuver through the defense. Cordell Friend made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Odell Atkinson in the 75th minute of play. After some careless play in the Yarker defense, Elliott Reynolds kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luc Minton. The Yarker fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luc Minton should have stopped the shot. Luc Minton made an important save on a dangerous shot by Conrad Glass in the 82nd minute. In the 82nd minute, Randall Lamothe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. During the 83rd minute of the match Darrin Deblois completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Darrin Deblois a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Conrad Glass took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luc Minton. Luc Minton dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-7. If Mathew Lackey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dariusz Raschke struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Luc Minton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Denver Hot Dogs. In the 94th match minute, Denver Hot Dogs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hai Ransom to maneuver through the defense. The Yarker fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Denver Hot Dogs were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
