Spectators: 7349 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1849, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Lucas Coulter got the match started through his kick off. The supporters of West Toronto FC booed when MancityBlues was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leif Brady didn't get a good kick on the ball. Danilo Chabot came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by MancityBlues's Leif Brady. But to his dismay, Leif Brady quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Lucas Coulter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Carrol Villalobos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 20 minutes into the game, Ellsworth Langelier was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MancityBlues's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave West Toronto FC the free kick. Leif Brady fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danilo Chabot having to interfere. Danilo Chabot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leif Brady in the 25th minute of the match. After 26 minutes, Wilber McFadden mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the West Toronto FC and the MancityBlues players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ellsworth Langelier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lucas Coulter struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Carrol Villalobos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for West Toronto FC. Leif Brady fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danilo Chabot having to interfere. Leif Brady received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Danilo Chabot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Lucas Coulter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Granville Haines received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Danilo Chabot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leif Bradys short, quick shot in the 54thth minute got Danilo Chabot to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Coulter in the 59th minute of play forced MancityBlues's goalkeeper Carrol Villalobos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Danilo Chabot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Granville Haines, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Granville Haines sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, West Toronto FC's Wilber McFadden got a free kick in the 73rd minute. MancityBlues's Carson Cole couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 74th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for West Toronto FC. Wilber McFadden hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Carrol Villalobos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Coulter, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Granville Haines in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Danilo Chabot saved West Toronto FC from getting behind. The attack was good, but when Leif Brady in the 85th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Granville Haines struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Danilo Chabot didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MancityBlues. If Leif Brady had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
